In October 2014 I said to a teaching colleague of mine, "How do you fancy cycling from Holyhead to Cardiff?"
Oh Dear, I was committed, Could I do it? I havn't got a decent bike, I havn't ridden my bike for ages.
My son came to the rescue, He works in a bike shop in London, you can see the name on my cycling jersey. He sourced a bike and some fantastic cycling clothing. I really had no excuse, so I set about booking the train to Holyhead and accommodation.
My cycling partner, Nigel Soper is fantastic, He completely trusted me to book it all up and was great company throughout the journey. I don't think I would have done it without his support.
